Takom 2017, Bundeswehr SpPz2 Luchs A1/A2. 2 in 1 Kit. Scale 1:35
Takom 2017, Bundeswehr SpPz2 Luchs A1/A2. Scale 1:35
TK2017 - Takom
It's quite easy to see that the SpPz2 Luchs is descended from the eight wheeled family of armoured cars used by the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. While the original Luchs was fully amphibious, the Luchs has since lost this capability after the first upgrade, however it still boasts full NBC protection, very quiet engine that apparently can't be heard outside of 50m, all four steerable axles, as well as a second rear facing driver station to allow for a quick escape should the need arise. The Luchs has since been replaced by the Fennek in Bundeswehr service.
This kit advertised as a 2 in 1 kit, can be built either as the SpPz 2 Luchs A1 or A2 version in 1:35 scale. This highly detailed static model kit contains 326 precision injection styrene parts in tan, 28 in clear, 82 photo-etched parts, 16 rubber tires, 8 metal springs, 2 poly caps, a flexible rubber sheet for the gun mantlet, and water-slide decals.
Markings are available for 4 individual vehicles. Attractive Ammo of Mig Jimenez painting and marking guide is included.
Special features include 2 types of tires, optional parts for A1 & A2 versions, all hatches can be built open or closed, workable suspension, and all wheels are steerable.
Glue and paint are required for this model. (Not included).
