MO1300 - Moebius Models 

The Lonestar, a class 8 heavy truck, was introduced in 2008. The retro look of the grill/hood makes it unique in the heavy truck field and it is truly in a class by itself, this stunning power-horse of the American highway embodies the convergence of classic styling and robust functionality with superior aerodynamic design. 

The cabin interior builds as a finished unit to then slide up unto the completed cab shell. All of the parts have some very fine detail with rough casting to show the carpet on the floor, engraved cupboard doors with the handles, and the detailed door cards. A big feature of the Lonestar Truck is the big couch that converts into a bed. It looks on the real truck like its leather and has button and stitching detail and this has been captured on the kit.

The rear suspension is air sprung with 2 bags per axle, and the airbags are in two parts each. The front axle is a steering axle, and can be built working to allow you to pose the wheels to your preference. The front axle is leaf sprung and the springs are well detailed with the hangers moulded on them.
