Eduard EDR0025, P-540N Warhawk. Royal Class Dual Combo Model Kit. 1:72 Scale
Curtiss P-40N Warhawk. Royal Class Dual Combo Limited Edition, 1:48 Scale
EDR0021 - Eduard Royal Class
The Curtiss P-40N Warhawk was the final and most produced series of the famous World War II fighter bomber, built to be lighter and faster than all earlier variants. Engineers removed structural weight and decreased internal fuel capacity to boost performance and climbing rates. The fuselage features an extended rear fuselage ("longtail") to improve spin recovery and directional stability after adding heavier rear equipment.
It carried six .50 caliber M2 Browning machine guns mounted in the wings, plus underwing racks for bombs or drop tanks (up to 500–700 lbs). It was powered by a single Allison V-1710 liquid-cooled V-12 engine (delivering roughly 1,200 to 1,360 hp depending on the block).
It had a top speed 378 mph (609km/h), a wingspan of 37 ft 4 in (11.42m), and length of 33 ft 4in to 33 ft 6in and the maximum altitude it could fly at was 25,000 to 31,000 feet.
