The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 is a supersonic jet fighter and interceptor aircraft, designed by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Deign Bureau in the Soviet Union.

Approximately 60 countries across four continents have flown the MiG-21, and it still serves many nations seven decades after its maiden flight. It set aviation records, becoming the most produved supersonic jet in history, the most-produced combat aircraft since the Korean War and, previously, the longest production run of any combat aircraft

Czechoslovak MiG-21F-13

A total of 194 aircraft were built under license in Odolena Voda by Aero Vodochody in Czechoslavakia. The most notable visual difference from Soviet-built variants was the rear section of the canopy, which used a metal frame instead of clear transparent material.

Operated heavily by the Czechoslovak Air Force throughout the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s across various units like the 1st, 4th, and 9th Fighter Air Regiments. It is powered by a Tumansky R-11F-300 engine and equipped with an NR-30 cannon and K-13 / R-3S air-to-air missiles.
