Amaury Boissonade, Major Penitentiary

Amaury Boissonade is a high-risk/high-reward character. His combination of magic, mobility, and dice manipulation abilities makes him truly unique. Thanks to abilities like Expedita and The Voice, Amaury can appear anywhere on the battlefield, flanking the enemy. His attacks bypass blocks and enhance successes, making him deadly
against heavily armoured foes. The use of stress and taint introduces tactical depth and a strong risk/reward mechanic. He blends the roles of assassin, tank, and support (fixing dice for himself or allies.

Mace Escorts

Elite bodyguards, perfect for protecting allied characters. They adapt to any situation, switching between offensive and defensive modes. They protect key characters with Escort and disarm their enemies. Their command ability Loyalty and Sacrifice lets them charge and punish threats. they work especially well alongside disarm-capable units like the Guisarmiers.

Irkalla, the Maw

A war machine that becomes stronger as she takes damage. She intimidates enemies while growing more powerful. In direct combat, few can match her ferocity. The more damage she receives, the more accurate and lethal she becomes. Her ability The Sculptor’s Hand allows her to take stress to ignore damage to her unit, making her a leader who boosts her troops’ resilience.

Anointed

Elite bodyguards, ideal for protecting characters. They can spend stress to move alongside a character or to enhance their attacks. They can lock down enemies in melee. They are very tough, with high defence and H3 and can reactively move to protect allied characters.
