HL70874 Lindberg. Jolly Roger Pirate Ship. 1:130 Scale
Jolly Roger Pirate Ship, 1:130 scale
HL70874- Lindberg Models
Jolly Roger Pirate Ship is based on Lindberg's original kit of the French Frigate called La Flore, one of the finest representations of plastic sailing ship kits.
The term "Jolly Roger" has over time come to mean pirate ship, historians believe there actually was no pirate ship called the Jolly Roger. The name Jolly Roger refers to the flag flown by the pirate ship, what we today refer to as "the skull and crossbones". In reality though, pirates flew many different flags. Usually each pirate had their own personal flag that was used for identification in much the same way a navy will fly its country's flag to identify itself.
Sails are vacu-formed plastic with black plastic shrouds and black thread. Planking detail is represented by raised lines which will be enhanced by dry-brushing.
The kit includes detailed crew members, rigging blocks and cannons.
